ORIENTATION FOR CLASS XII
An Orientation meet was called in the school, on 12th March, 2015, for newly promoted students of class XII and their parents. The purpose of the meet was to hand over the Annual Calendar for the year 2015-16 and the role of school and parents’ responsibility was also discussed.
The issues of shortage of attendance, delayed submission of files/ projects/ portfolios, etc. if overlooked can hamper the students’ performance and cause them and consequently their parents stress, was also brought to the notice of parents. The school made the effort to ensure a system of communication and participation of the parents in their ward’s progress for the coming year, which is very crucial academically. The principal, Ms. R. Sachdeva, ended the meet with motivational and inspiring words to the students.
ANNUAL DAY CELEBRATIONS 2014-15
Shadley celebrated its Annual Day Function on Saturday, 20th December 2014. The Chief Guest, an emminent personality from Education Department graced the occasion.
All the students of the school participated in the celebration. Atulya Bharat depicted the glory of Indian culture. The Genesis emphasized on accepting change for growth. Lord Krishna in the ballet Gynodaya highlighted the role of Guru in a student's life through the excerpts of the epic Mahabharata.
The finale - UV Act - left everybody spellbound. The Academic Excellence Awards were distributed to the deserving students. Sanchit Tanwar of class XII received the Student of the Year Award.
The Principal Madam R. Sachdeva thanked the staff and parents for their support to turn every endeavour into its successful completion.
