Independence Day Celebration

Gaiety and patriotic fervor were the spice of 70th Independence Day celebration in the school. The senior students presented a ‘Nukkad Natak’ which spreads the awareness for rights and duties of today’s youth to maintain uni8ty, peace and harmony and contribute towards the progress of nation.

A musical ballad presenting the challenges after Independence added the colours of unity and togetherness. The choir set the tone for the event by presenting a mesmerising and heart touching performance.

The principal Ms. Rashmi Sachdeva shared words of wisdom and encouragement stressing the need for youth power which she said was the need of the hour.

The creative work of Shadley was put on display on PTM held on Saturday, 23rd July 2016. The innovative ideas presented by the students were admired and appreciated by the parents. The best self effort of a student was awarded as 'Star Presentation' along with 'Good Presentation' for appreciable effort.

Beti Bachao Beti Padhao

The government’s vision of imparting knowledge and empowering women was turned into a reality by the ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ campaign held in the school on 8th July 2016. With great zeal and enthusiasm the children created a 'Balika Corner' displaying the effort and creativity of participating students through various activities such as essay writing (Hindi and English), slogan writing, poster making and Logo. It was a sincere attempt by them so as to propagate the idea of spreading awareness and importance of girl child.

The campaign provided wings to students to capture the new horizon - ‘Respecting the Girl Child’.
