Horses were an essential means of transport for many centuries. Ridding for sport and leisure developed in the 17th century and is still being enjoyed today.
Riding is fun, but it also takes skill, practice and even some courage. There are many competitive events, these range from pole, and eventing, through to cross-country competitions.
Riders club also teach young riders how to ride and look after their horses and riding equipment such as saddle, bridle, etc. It is an experience that is truly royal.
A unique outdoor activity stressed more in winters. Engaging the students in activities strengthens the confidence, develops a sense of team work and promote leadership qualities.
