SAFETY AND SECURITY OF THE STUDENTS
For the appraisal of the parents and other concerned, the facilities made available for the safety and security of students of the school are enlisted below:
1. CCTV cameras

CCTV cameras were installed long-long back in and around the school building/ premises.

Monitoring through cameras is done throughout.

2.  Student Monitoring

The Gates no. 2 and 4 are duly attended by the duty teachers and staff at the time of arrival and dispersal. Similarly, each floor, stairs and the ground is also monitored by teachers on duty during recess.

Regular checks of the entire school building are conducted as per the scheduled timings throughout the day by teachers/ staff.

3. Fire Safety

The school is already equipped with a Fire System as per the norms laid down to fight fire in case of any untoward events.

The school has a proper exit plan in case of emergency or any disaster which is put up on the notice board in each classroom and on each floor. Mock drills are conducted on regular basis for students to know the exit routes.

4. Hygienic R.O. water: The drinking water undergoes R.O. treatment and it is safe and pure. Fumigation is done, especially during rainy season.
5. All visitors/ parents entering school furnish complete details about themselves and their purpose of visit in the register maintained at the security office at entry gate no.1.
6. Every fourth Saturday is assigned for PTM, any meeting if required with academic/ admin is through prior appointment.

All the school buses are equipped with the following material and services of the individual:

* GPS

* Fire extinguisher

* Medical box

* Water dispenser

The school has already started the police verification of the character and antecedent of all the drivers and helpers of the school as well as other staff.

The teachers are particular in maintaining discipline and also in ensuring that no inconvenience is caused to students in the journey and that the student get in or get down at the appropriate stand in the morning and afternoon.

It is mandatory for the parents to be present at the bus stop to pick up their child. In case the parents do not turn up at the stop, the student is brought back to the school.

8. Restricted movements of drivers, conductors/ helpers and  watchman/ security staff:

A separate washroom is earmarked with facilities for their use.

All the helping staff and maids wear uniforms provided by the school and are therefore easily identified.

9. Coordination solicited from the parents:

To observe the dispersal time, i.e. 1:30 pm and be present at Gate no. 2/4 to ferry their ward to the said mode of transportation.

It is the parents’ prerogative to check the credentials of the private van operator and to ensure that the safety norms are being followed.
